We do start out well when playing a team that is terrible like umass
UMass athletics are so bad. Both major sports are a total mess. Alas, they have still made the NCAA tournament more recently than we have…

Frustrating second half. Maybe, just maybe we should run up and down the court all game like we did in first half. We have depth to do it and didn’t use the depth in the second half.
If our NET still mattered, it would be very frustrating to see the way we finished this one.
We struggled in the second half against a bottom tier UMass team. Completely went to sleep in the second half. We are lucky Fernandez fouled out.

That was a pathetic second half. Plenty of the types of plays that kneepad pointed out against SLU. Brain dead plays. Brain dead coaching. Mooney just keeps subbing until he finds a combo that is playing poorly then decides to stick with it.
Nice game for Gilyard, but Burton saved our bacon with his late game rebounding while everyone else was folding like a Mooney coached player.
