This is really a great time to watch the Spiders on TV. It seemed like most of our games were on TV at least locally, if not regionally. I would say about 9-10 games were shown nationally, which was unheard of about 20 years ago. I don't know what we do in the ratings, but it's nice for the fans to be able to see the games if they can't make it to the arena.
I noticed the conference tournament this year is going to be on 4 different channels for the 4 nights. The first round was on CSN regionally, the QF was on NBCSN, the SF is on CBSSN, and the final is on CBS. A good way of seeing the different styles.
Does anyone care about the production or announcers of games on TV? I was wondering if anyone would prefer NBCSN to CBSSN or ESPN networks coverage? I think NBCSN tries really hard and for the most part their production is really good. CBSSN seems kind of sterile and not everyone gets the channel. ESPN has so much inventory that the A-10 would be lost on there if it were on there full time, so we're stuck with the second string channels like NBCSN and CBSSN. THoughts?
