So after getting really angry after losing 2 of the last 3, I jotted down a few things I am grateful for:

1. My health.... still ticking.
2. My friends and family's health. We have had 1 in the ICU w COVID but luckily I have not lost anyone close to me.

3. I love that we have College basketball to watch, and that I can find video for most Spider games.
4. I love that we have a team that beat Vandy and KY and is relevant on the national stage this year.
5. I know how how much the team wants the tourney and I know they are giving it their best, so I am grateful for that.

I will leave out all of the things that cause me distress related to recent games and stick with "the positives" for this thread.

Always got to remember the big picture here. Good post. Trying to enjoy the ride and point out analysis of team's play versus beating the Mooney needs to be fired horse. I'll save that for the offseason :)

Good stuff fan2, good priorities. I would like to be more like you. We may make the NCAA this season, and that will be super. I really need to just reset any expectations for a strong year after year program. Not going to happen with Mooney, Hardt, and our admin. Just not.

spider23 is going to comment about things we are grateful for, by mentioning again that the team is not meeting expectations, and Mooney and Hardt are to blame. Just to ensure that every single thread becomes negative. I suppose I can be grateful for predictability.

Sorry, I tried not to be negative. On a positive note, I am very optimistic on the year 2021 so far!! But no, not optimistic on Mooney long term. The other thing that worries me, is I don't trust Hardt to pick the next coach. But I can live with Mooney, if PQ would just buy him some bigs for next year and Hardt would suggest he use them I will be super optimistic!! I am very excited about our young players that are recruited for next year, including current freshman Wilson and Bailey. I think Nelson has that look of a future star, and we did really well in landing Noyes late.

I think I would add Mooney's perfect hair to the things I am grateful for. Even during a pandemic.

Do you think he could get one of his dozen or so staff members to take Andre to his barber? :)
Or would that be an NCAA violation.....

Thankful for Gilly! Got the shooting mojo back tonight along with all of his usual critical and considerable contributions.

He smoked Fatts:

22 pts vs Fatt's 18
6 of 10 from field v Fatt's 7-17
6 of 8 from 3 v Fatt's 0 of 5
4 of 4 from line v 4 of 7
2 TO's v Fatt's 3
5 steals v Fatt's 2 steals
4 assists for each

I don’t know...ask Fatts why he took 12 jumpers.
yeah, he takes a lot of very tough contested jumpers early in the clock. I don't think he's a bad shooter as much as he takes bad shots. he could get better looks and would make a better percentage.

Any left over side effects from Covid?

Right now mostly just fatigue. Felt totally fine the past couple days, but going from sitting on the couch all day to returning straight to work was a bit more difficult than I thought it would be. But if that’s all I have then I have nothing to complain about!
