The Biden Doctrine

The Biden Doctrine is alive and well. This time the beneficiary is a recently convicted fraudster; Charles Edward Littlejohn is on the clemency list for a commutation of his sentence.. He was convicted of stealing thousands of tax returns in May, including President Trump's. Biden has not made the final decision, but given Father Joe's tendency to forgive some of the worst criminals, I expect Mr. Littlejohn will receive a get out of jail free card.

Justice for thee and not for me.

I take a modicum of solace in believing ......"the future is bright". :)
President Biden owns this defeat. He sacrificed his domestic agenda, his Presidency, and the country's status in the world. Things are worse now, but you are right. He is a one term President. This country is stronger than this. Yes, the future is bright.
Things are looking up.

A relieved Nation celebrates the end of among the most inglorious Administrations in memory.

The gang that couldn’t shoot straight:

  • Botched domestic policy unleashing worst inflation in 40 years
  • Botched border security leading directly to the deaths of several US citizens and a huge financial burden on taxpayers for years to come
  • Botched foreign policy
    • The Afghanistan withdrawal was a humiliating disaster on a Global stage. Emboldened our adversaries to go on the march. We needlessly lost 13 troops, but the hapless withdrawal led to tens of thousands of deaths among our allies.
    • Allowed Iran to arise from the grave by relaxing sanctions, thereby pumping billions to fund weapons aimed at our Mid-East allies.
  • Weaponized our justice system
  • Sought actively to suborn free speech on social media
  • Elevated DEI over merit
  • Abused Presidential pardon authority
  • Lied for years about the President’s cognitive ability

The Administration had some policy wins that moved the country forward as all administrations do, but overall quite a remarkable record of ineptitude.

That said, sincerely wish Biden well in his retirement.

It is noon and Joe Biden is no longer president. President Donald J. Trump is now the 47th president of the United States of America. Although the Biden Doctrine will come to a close, President Trump has a lot of work to do. He is tasked with fixing all of the damage caused by the former president, Joe Biden. Good riddance.

I didn't watch. Apparently the speech was terrible, full of hatred and division, and the billionaires who will now run the country all got front-row seats.

Biden is leaving the draft dodging coward who tried to overturn our government the best economy in the world. Trump has already been rated as the worst US President in history by historians and political experts for his previous debacle, it will be interesting to see if he is any better this time or will occupy the last 2 spots, although any rankings may never be published since Trump will probably shut down any negative reports. Trump now controls most of social media, and he can now lie without challlenge.

That said, I sincerely hope Trump can be a decent President, but I won't be holding my breath. He ran on a platform of lowering prices and is now more concerned about taking over Panama, Canada and Greenland.

And... Joe Biden has given preemptive pardons for 5 more members of his family, including James Biden, Sara Jones Biden, Valerie Biden Owens, John Owens, and Francis Biden. These are his siblings and their spouses. This makes one wonder, just how much influence did they peddle? The corruption in the Biden family is extensive. What crimes did they commit?

How can you defend this?

By giving blanket pardons, Biden has actually placed a target on the backs of the recipients. Those who received pardons can no longer rely on the 5th Amendment protections. They will have to testify under oath. If they do so and lie, then they are in real trouble.

Adam Schiff and his staff should be concerned. They leaked highly sensitive data.

Are these non-partisan historians and political experts? Are they completely devoid of unreasonable hatred? Suspect they are in the same vein as the 51 security "experts" who deemed the Hunter Biden laptop as likely Russian disinformation immediately prior to the final Presidential debate in 2020 when the FBI had already authenticated it as Hunter's. (Oh, but they kept mum.)

Average folks see this for what it is, a rating devoid of credibility. They lived through the first Trump term and found it far superior to what they got under Biden. They told us that November 5th last year.

The more Trump and his cronnies threatened retribution, the more reasonable the pardons are. I don't blame him one bit.
