as a Spider fans we've got a lot to be thankful for: a small university that is willing to invest in D-1 football; coaches and players we can all be proud of; the fellowship and camaraderie with Spider friends and families and finally, another FCS playoff bid...congrats to the team and coaches...
saw our team out practicing this morning at The Brick House...everyone seems to think Morgan State will be an easy win...I hope they're right...it should be, if we execute Coach Rocco's November championship formula: a defense that makes big plays; an effective rushing game and no turnovers...combine these with our passing game...Morgan State shouldn't be able to win this game...
It's tough to draw a large crowd to UR football on Thanksgiving weekend, but I hope The Brick House will be looking good for its first ever playoff game...
