Most of what you said is true. However, leadership begins at the top, and these guys aren't going to be able to freelance. They're tied down by Mooney's systems and philosophy. This includes lack of emphasis upon rebounding / forgoing of 2nd chance points, weak defenses, lack of blocking out, lack of flexibility, end of game mismanagement.I am surprised people had an issue with this. We are returning Golden and Gilyard, 2 of the top players in the league. We are adding Sherod, who some people on this board were surprised he did not make pre-season top 25. We are also adding Frances who was a mid-major all American. We have Cayo coming back who had one of the top field goal percentage in the league. We also have 4 good freshman coming back that will be battling for a starting position. Our 5 starters next year are all going to be very good players regardless of who they are.
Count me in the group of those who believe that with another coach these players could achieve better results. They have the talent.
