the bench is the only part of the team playing well today! Wilson and Goose giving good minutes and Bailey provided some good minutes in first half.
Oh that's right we're the only team that has attrition from injuries.
that is clearly a foul on Grace, but its such a bad play. you just cant run right at a three point shooter
Why Djii Bailey hasnt been playing is beyond me. He is already easily our best perimeter defender
Think you guys are missing the point. We go down huge to a bad team. We come back and win. Mooney gets another extension for rallying the team and closing the season strong.
Burton perimeter defense on the other hand is atrocious. He keeps standing up straight and as soon as he does, they blow by
Honestly, I have no earthy idea why Bailey and Wilson didnt get regular minutes all year. They'd be even further along than they are and they look like our two best players. And for sure our best perimeter defenders
I've appreciated your posts all year. I agree. All I can figure is Mooney coaches scared and his teams appear to play scared (to lose).
Can't even win on senior night. Its all predictable players are worn out. Injuries no depth. Equals L
What's pathetic for sure is our defense. It hard to explain how bad it is, We have no real consistency in how we defend each time down the court. How and when and why we help, where we position etc. are totally inconsistent. What is consistent is how off balance we get when guarding the ball on the perimeter. We stand up, we reach, we react to fakes and get "dead legged" and they blow by. Its concept AND execution
everyone minus the guy making 1.3 million a year and that guy who used to post here could see that building depth with those 2 would have been useful this year.
I'd say we start Sal, Burton, Gus, Djii and Wilson in the A-10 tourney. Might as well start working on next year. Apologies to Cayo who came to play these last two!!
What a summary of the season. St Joe’s commits a horrible turnover and then we panic with the ball. Doesn’t look like a well coached team at all.
I can hear it all now from Mooney. . . We played really hard. Its tough minus Grant and Blake and Nick. Proud of our effort. the freshman played really well. Should have been playing them more! They have a chance to be the best class ever!
Is it really possible that we never led this team and were only tied once at 16? As Jed Clampett use to say, pitiful.
