De'Monte listed at 6-3, 225
Nick at 6-5,200

Always take the measurements with a grain of salt, but if these are somewhat close to accurate...De'Monte must be hitting the weights

If someone attends the game, would love a report on how our guys looked. OSC

You can watch the game on YouTube: 13th 804 All-Star Game. The game is tonight, Mar. 19th at 8:30 p.m. Pretty sure that it is a live stream on YouTube. The Twitter site for the game is 804 All-Star Game (@804allstargame) Lots of tweets and pics of the players there.

I plan to watch the Lax game against UNC beginning at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN3, but if not complete by 8:30 then move my laptop next to my desktop and watch both.

Listening in. Even in an exhibition with little defense hearing "Rebound Buckingham" is music to my ears. Sherod already has 17 in 1st half with some monster 3's. Sounds like our future Spiders are having some fun playing together on same team. Since those 2 are right here in the Capital city, bet they show up in RC for pick up games with their future teammates well before summer. Building that team chemistry is critical.

Peanut Gang represented Spider Nation tonight at Richard Bland for all star game. Both of our guys showed well in this format which had little to no defense until last minute of game. North team lost but ability of both recruits was evident. DeMonte's overall game was on full display and he was the primary distributor for North. Nick was shooting every chance he got and his range is deep with many 3's from 25 feet. He hit at least five 3's and maybe more. Buckingham is strong with the ball and definitely deferred to other teammates to get everyone involved, Both are physically ahead of peers in body type and should get stronger by next season with strength program. Both appear to have high ceilings and are offensively talented in regards to outside shooting and ability to drive and finish. Looking forward to following their careers as Spiders.

Glad to see some positive thinking confident young men coming to the program. Certainly will breathe life back into UR Basketball.

Now if we can only get Mooney to adjust his game plan to maximize his players talents, instead of trying to make tanks out of greyhounds.
