Another PG from Gillyland? Olathe North HS from the Kansas side of KC area. Seems to also be a WR and is being recruited by schools for football as well. Just offered from hoops by Tennessee yesterday, so there's that. It looks like it was his first hoops offer. I see a football offer from Tulsa. His dad was a WR at Northwestern and appeared in one season in the NFL with the Dolphins on special teams.

Do we ever offer two sport scholarships anymore? I know we used to, but I can’t think of any now.

Not sure how things are changing with the move to roster caps rather than scholarship limits. There used to be a hierarchy of sports where if you played multiple sports you counted against the highest-ranked sport in the list, and football was at the top. Intention was to prevent schools doing stuff like giving the full allotment of football schollies and then giving other football players track schollies to run the 100 in one meet in the spring.

Football and basketball really not very feasible as dual-sport athletes in college at a high level...too much season overlap.

Watching his video, it appears to me if a teammate attacks the basket Sam will find a way to get him the ball.
