A University of Richmond student has unexpectedly passed, according to the university’s president Kevin F. Hallock in a letter to the community.

Yes, I saw it too. It occurred before 9:30 pm. It is new that it was labeled as an accidental drowning.

Reminiscent of Donnie Lindsey, of course. "Organized" jumps into the lake were of course banned after Donnie, so I wonder if this was a one-off solo thing or if there was a group involved. Coming from someone who does open-water swimming, I've never had a desire to get in that lake.
