Round 2 of Philly Phun- St Joe's Game Thread

Expecting us to be better next year than we are this year is going to be an exercise in futility, I'm afraid.
Oh hell yes, that’s rainbows and unicorn stuff if anyone thinks we will be better next year. We will be down to 50 points and 15 rebounds next year without Tyler. Unless Duke transfers to Richmond, it will be a disaster in 23-24

it always looks impossible to replace a great player. I don't know where the points and rebounds will come from yet, but they'll come. we're not going to score 50 points per game.

It’s 3 starters we lose, not just our best player. I understand what you are saying, but unless we get transfers, I don’t see where the points will come from.

I like Grace and Goose and appreciate them as Spiders, but it could be argued whether they've been the best options as starters this year. Burton however is a problem to replace.

St. Joes has a good and recent history of success. LaSalle though looks like the entire school may shut down at any moment.
Can't believe how time flies.
They were an NCAA 8 seed in 2016.
This may be their 7th season in a row not being over .500.

Game night. I’m rooting for an appearance by Aiden Noyes. Also hope that Quinn can keep up the momentum and that we see some renewed energy overall. The Hawks crushed the super senior Spiders in the last matchup, so how about some redemption?

Go Spiders!

Time to remind the St Joe’s administration that firing Phil Martelli was a mistake - Go Spiders.

Coleman is not a three point shooter, but not sure why Nelson left him alone to go defend no one

Sf - can you quickly remind us of the stats of this starting lineup for the first 4 min of the games … it won’t be pretty

I think that drive by Marcus to the rack was the first effort by any of our guys this half to penetrate.

I mean sure, he got crushed but at least he didn’t look timid.
