Absolutely 100% agree. Very selfish for the older generation to want the younger generation to stop living their normal lives to possibly lengthen the lives of those who already had a full life. Thank you.

Yeah, crazy that my dad should get to live another 20 years. Let’s make sure to get this one season in instead. We’ve got a vaccine (actually more than one) on the way, can’t we wait a few more months before returning to normal? Can’t we honor the sacrifices that the older generations made for us by taking care of them for one year (last spring to this upcoming one)? As you said, these kids have a lot of life left to live, our elders do not. Why cut it short when we are so close to getting past this?

I disagree, it is not selfish for the older generation to want live. If we all do our part for humanity to survive, then it is right/duty to ensure everyone lives.

And don’t you think it benefits the younger generation to still have their grandparents around? And for 20 somethings to still have their parents around? I don’t get this logic of “let the old people die, we don’t care about them anymore.” Glad I’m not their dad.
