Next Year

It's hard to tell what we've got with PF with such limited playing time, and no one should crown him for his one bucket against Duquesne, but it at least showed he's capable as opposed to incapable.

It takes longer to develop big's than other players, so you have to keep a "steady" stream of them coming into the program.

Here is my my take on our improvement "Next Year".

We will be replacing possibly the least two productive starters in NCAA history (I will hear differently from Fan2011, but we all know it's true) with two of the best high school players in the 10th most populated state in the country.

I'll take that improvement any day!!!!!!!

I think "in ncaa history" could be hyperbole but I can appreciate the sentiment.

I don't understand how posters on this board think TJ is a good defensive player. I really like his offense, but his defense is certainly below average. I'm not saying to take him out of the starting lineup, but you should pair him with a good defensive center that could block shots.

In referring to his lack of size, he does not play like a 6'9" player on defense if that is even his true height. He's not long, and doesn't block shots. He gets out maneuvered and outmuscled in the low post on defense. If he is our main defensive front court force next year, expect a long season.

Coach likes to play TJ at pivot ..then he can say i need offense defense,, Coach did not like big lineup with ANO and TA with TJ .... Coach needs new thoughts on this.. No one ever says TJ is pivot pnly Coach does
