UR handing them the scissors & watching would be a leafy UR thing to do. Hey we started to at Siegel the year we won CAA but were banned from CAA tourney. Think there was more reason to do it under those bs circimstances. But vcu stopped us which was also fair. Almost a fight that I recall.

To Odom credit - btw where is 4700 to tell me Mooney>Odom, that was funny - Odom said they would celebrate but would not cut the nets. They lost anyway but they r probably well above doing that anyway. Celebrate sure...save the nets for a tourney champ, final 4 & natty.

First, we won't see bunker boy until the transfer announcements start rolling in and he reappears to tell us how great everything is and refuses to acknowledge this season in the slightest.

As for NetGate, after doing some minor digging I did come across this. It would appear a net was indeed cut down but I guess technically they could have waited to get back to Fairfax to do it? Though that seems unlikely and as best I can tell those pictures are at the RC just not on the side of the arena that I ever enter from haha.

I can only see one hoop where the net is intact. We don’t know for sure about the other hoop by the student section. They didn’t cut individual pieces, maybe felt rushed? But could have quickly cut the whole net down. The fact that we are even considering that we would allow this to be done as a possibility, is just sad in my opinion.

I don’t care that this wasn’t a title game, but rather culmination of the entire season. It wouldn’t sit well with me to see any opposing team celebrate in the Robins Center. Even if we were 0-17 and by us winning it gives VCU the outright title, I wouldn’t care. I would have some pride and play the hardest I possible could believing that only we can celebrate on our home court.
