20 point home loss to a mediocre A-Sun team. It’s unbelievable how bad we are. Can’t watch another game.
Pat Chambers forced him to. U could tell Moon wasn’t going to & only bc of Chambers sub. Pat Chambers the guy with the rep of a dick shows more class than “nice guy” Mooney.

Rick is the best example of our ongoing problem - he makes sane and smart decisions and while I am crazy grumpy and sad tonight, I make emotional optimistic ones and still will be going to the rest of the home games when I am in town and will be renewing my season tickets since I can't get rid of the hope of the perpetual next season.
I almost fell asleep at the game waiting for those guys to figure something out. Ridiculous.
Something fundamentally wrong when we are favored by 3 and lose by 18. Not to fret - OOC done, and we are set to dominate A10, as OOC prepared us well.
Not so fast - we had a big win over VMI last week. We can’t be but so greedy.
Why did I go to this game tonight? That is just a bad basketball team. Watching Tynne and Waltz take three point shots (did Roche get any attempts?), Waltz getting switched onto guards all night, multiple times where our defender in the paint just let a driver go right by them, this might be the worst Mooney team in 20 years.
Well, at least our coach recognizes that what we're doing isn't working, and so therefore the logical decision would be to try something diff... Oh FFS.
Mooney is a clown. Yet somehow he is coach forever.
I can verify,
Pres was present, cannot guarantee he stayed for final horn. Did not see PQ.
Observation
1. We are not cohesive at all.
2. We don’t play relaxed, as we seem to press. Shots won’t go in unless the shooter is confident
3. Yes, Bob Black, every team is finding our small guards on a regular basis. We seem lost on defense and frequently lose our man. Question how do teams manage to have so many open threes where we have to throw up a prayer with time running out.
4. Why are we so sold on the three while not attacking the lane.?
5. At this point, the season is shot, Play your underclassmen, end the redshirts and develop next years team.
6. Mooney do a Larranega and let’s move on.
7. Happy 2025 and go Spiders

These guys don't care. When we go to the NCAAs again in 2031 the mooneyites will be slam dunking on here, saying see we told you so.
Meanwhile, we have been told by the mooniocrity legion that it's impossible to hire another good coach. Meanwhile in Logan, UT they had a really good coach. He left and they got another really good coach and immediately went to the NCAAs. He left, and guess what they have another really good coach and a shot to go back again this year. BUT NO, it's impossible. Why would a good coach want to come to Lil ol leafy Richmond. The attitude from PQ to Hardt to Mooney is disgusting.

Problem is even if moon decided to hang it up, I have an extremely strong feeling that Hardt and PQ would eff up the hire.
And Moon has absolutely ZERO reason to leave. As I was told point blank by a former D1 head coach 10 years ago, Moon has the best job in America. Wasn't sure I believed him, but every year that passes I see he knew what he was talking about. Zero media accountability. Zero admin accountability, other than staying out of the police blotter and no yelling out F bombs. Only a small group of fans try to keep him accountable, and then he can play the victim. Woe is me. Poor me.

I was yelling put in 40 or put in Washimgton anytime it got quiet most of the 2nd half.
Can we just please get rid of this guy. My god he sucks as a division 1 basketball coach
