thinking about it though ... while unlikely a low seed goes on a run, it's really not in a kid's best interest to potentially ask him to play 7 nights in a row. that's not healthy.
Seems like they've seen us play non-con games before..."Richmond stinks in the non-con and figures it out"???
have they seen our non-con?
Jury's out on this one.We can stink and still hit double digit wins before A-10 play.
Now that I have looked into it, they are right about VCU. They have some talent and just importantly a legitimate coach. Moon is not going to gain any ground this season.1 week into season and we're into the root against VCU's at large chances phase. The team most of the board doesn't think is that great. It would be nice to root for our own. But we are used to it in the Mooney era. This is the exact scenario we get virtually every year.

That's what we get for going 0-3 vs D1.
I hope you were able to get lots of rebates on your trip to Costco.I had the misfortune of attending the vcu game last night. They shot poorly from three, as they often do, and generally speaking they don't have much of a half court game on offense, but they make up for those deficiencies by being incredibly aggressive and active. This is really nothing new, but the difference between that and the way we play is striking.
They do not get complacent when they are up. They keep attacking. They missed a lot of shots, but guess what? They actually try hard to get offensive rebounds! It's an amazing concept. And it allows them to be sloppy but still win against a bad team by 25 points.
Right. Teams that have a sustained aggressive and defensive mindset have a good base to excel. We have to everything right to win. Exception being last season when we have DAWGS like King, Harris, Dji, and Bigs.I had the misfortune of attending the vcu game last night.
