This is one long review. They went to the board, discussed for at least a minute, and are now going back to the board. I don’t think they know what they’re going to do.
It’s so awesome that this game is in LA. This is the first women’s game I’ve ever been to and they look better than any Richmond men’s team I’ve ever seen.
This team is such a joy to watch. Roussell is building a power level program in Richmond. We are hammering an ACC team in Georgia Tech that was ranked as high as #13 in the country. Give Roussell a salary worth of a P5 coach and whatever NIL resources he wants!
Maggie Doogan has 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 assists. I don’t think we’ve seen this type of performance since TJ Cline
Love hearing the “We are UR” chants on TV as we finish a dominating win against a P5 team in the NCAA tournament. I have such an immense feeling of pride for my beloved university. This is why sports matter. Way to represent UR so well ladies! What a moment for us and setting up a massive game against the #1 team in the country on Sunday on national television. This is what it’s all about!
Great work Lady Spiders. Guess those white jerseys were justified. Glad they got a decent amount of support. Obviously no one at GT cared.

Just spectacular from the day we got the bid. No downplaying it, no whine about having to go west, no talk of competing etc. The goal (and the expectation) immediately was set to win the damn game. Period. Full stop.

Caught the last few minutes - we looked like a whole different class than GT. Doogan was incredible. Roussell has done an unbelievable job building this program and gotta hope we can keep him around for a while.

I ran into Addie Budnik and Maggie Doogan in the concourse after the game. Told them both that they were incredible and so much fun to watch. Looked like they were both enjoying the win. I feel like they’re going to be ready for Sunday.
In Roussell, we have a next level coach and person. Heartfelt and aware and very smart.
Just met Aaron Rousell! I’m 7 rows up from the media table. He got up to leave at halftime so I yelled out Hey Aaron, great job. He could have just smiled and waved, but he turned around and came up into the stands to talk to me.

Seeding does matter. Big difference between 1 seeds and 2 or 3 seeds in women's hoops. So happy to get the dominant win over GaTech and a chance at the #1 seed, though. Let's go get it, Spiders!
