On the Richmond Spiders website, it says that they will be posting the full broadcasts from the Davidson game and the SFU game today but they have not done it yet. Anyone know if they will be coming out at a later date because right now that's about all I have to watch. I am very interested in watching the SFU game because I still wonder how on earth we came back and won that game and without that comeback I don't think we would have been in serious consideration for an at large.

I don't know if they're still planning to put it up but man I would love to watch the home game vs VCU again.

Or the Wisconsin win.

ESPN+ used to archive things for months, but it looks like these days it's maybe one month at best. That sucks. Would be fun to watch a bunch of our ESPN games.

ESPN 950 AM broadcast the St. Francis game on radio tonight

I recorded those games on my tv....it gives me time to reflect.....If I could send to you guys, I would do just that...

I know it's not Spider basketball, but having free access to the NFL, MLB on-demand packages has been really nice. The NHL hasn't made as much available but there's still some good stuff on their "Pause Binge" site.
The NBA is also offering all of this year's games, I believe - not as interested in that.

We are really enjoying watching these. I hope when they finish this season's highlights they can go back and post some of our older games--Kansas? Vanderbilt/Moorehead State? The original Syracuse game?

I highly recommend watching Spider alumni Lil Dicky's $ave Dat Money. He graduated around 6 years ago and this video has had over 125 million views. He filmed the video for free by asking random people in Beverly Hills if he could use their stuff.

I just hope the NCAA, UR and the Governor don’t cheat us out of this upcoming season. We have all waited a long time for this.

there's been some talk lately about starting the season late and running it late. like January thru May. no idea if that's possible logistically. would seem like a re-scheduling nightmare.

In case folks missed this from a few days ago, 35 minutes of Mooney and Noah. Part 2 drops tomorrow.

If there is going to be college basketball next Fall, that decision will be far beyond UR and Governor of Virginia making it. In fact it will beyond the NCAA making it as well. All professional sports leagues start before college hoops and if they are a go, so will basketball. If they are not, than basketball isn't happening either. These leagues are all for profit ventures, no one forced them to shut down, they shut down preemptively because they knew continuing at that time was a horrible business decision for them, their fans, and players.

I find it positive that baseball is having some discussions right now with an end of June/early July start, albeit, playing in empty stadiums with reformatted leagues. I also find it positive that some universities have already said they are opening up for in person classes in the Fall (Radford was the first to publically do so. Yes, things could get worse and reverse those decisions, but I think we are learning more and more about this virus every day and that is going to inform where things go from here on out.

I'm less worried about logisitics and scheduling. This is big money we are talking about in these sports and they will work out the logistics of things in order to make that money.

I am looking forward to November, when we will be able to watch the World Series, NBA Finals, NHL Finals, the NFL, The Masters, the Kentucky Derby, the US Opens (tennis and golf), Wimbledon, 35 NASCAR races, college football and basketball, the women's beach volleyball league and some other things I forgot all basically at once. It's going to be awesome!

Whichever league figures out a way to be the first to get some sort of live events going again is probably going to see massive tv audiences. People are craving sports right now.

Well NASCAR just announced that they are going to live races starting in mid May with no audiences. I am not a NASCAR fan at all, but I would suspect they are gonna get a lot of eyeballs on those races.

This is a HUGE opportunity for baseball as well to get back fans that have left. Baseball used to be my number 1 sport, but man, it just so damn slow to watch on TV. But I would give a lot right now to have baseball. I'd be signing right back up for MLB streaming in a second.
