Lauletta to the Giants

While things on the basektball side has been pretty tumultuous this off season, some great things happening for football. New locker rooms being built, Spiders in the NFL. Great recruiting pitches for recruits. Our defense seems a lot more cohesive Pieces seem to be falling at the right time to position us to have a great run the next several years

4th round - 108th pick - way to go Kyle - trust you and your family are happy about it. About 115 miles from Exton.....hopefully your family will be able to watch you play often...........

On the channel I was watching today, several times when the analysts were talking they gave really high praise to Kyle. Said it was a great pick for the Giants. Lot of positive things said. He was singled out several times.

Good day for Spider football. We should all be proud.

It was a blast watching him the last several years...winner!

Congrats, Kyle!

I dislike the Giants, but this is a great opportunity for Kyle. He can compete with Davis Webb right away.

I remember a chat with a Richmond product who got drafted in the 4th round. He told me going into camp he was going to win the starting job and he most certainly did. Kyle's a confident young man, and he has every reason to be here.

I'll be impressed if he beats out Eli!

But of course I wish him the best and suspect he will be starting for someone in a couple years.

I hope Lauletta does for UR in football what Steph Curry has done for Davidson in basketball. Would be awesome to have him starting in the NFL, but there’s a long road of hard work before that can happen!

He’s in a pretty good situation. Eli’s not going to be around forever and the new Giants regime has no loyalty to Davis Webb.

Yes sir, remember it took Curry a few years before he he took everyone by storm. I believe Lauletta is up to the challenge!

This. And i'll add that his new head coach has been a bit of a 'quarterback whisperer' wherever he has been. Kyle really could not have have ended up in a better situation and i'm sure he'll make some major contributions to the quarterback room with all the systems he has played in at UR.

Go Big Blue.

Dont know the giants in and out, but I would have to think that Barkley will be the main attraction on Day 1. That would take some pressure off Kyle (if ever starter). 20 rushes a game, catching out in the flat.

How many deep balls would Kyle really need to throw? Id be interested in knowing Eli's numbers at certain yardages.

Eli heading into last yr of 4 yr, $84mil contract signed back in 2015. Perfect for Kyle. Sit a yr then start 2019!

Commentary on Kyle begins at 10:00 mark.
Mistaken on where he attended college (Navy) but gives NYG an "A" on picking Kyle.

great to see Shawn, one of my all time fav SPIDS, put in some good words. recall speaking with his Dad at a UR function one night and we were discussing how we were going to be able to root for Shawn the next season as he was departing our team, the REDSKINS and going to the eagles. great people

Very good guy, was at school the same time as him. He was a beast on the carpet gym for basketball.
