And the announcers just talked about the spider helmet being the coolest out there followed by a camera close up of Kyle's spider helmet. Free publicity for UR and the football program. Kyle continues to ball out and represent UR extremely well in this game.
Kyle is doing himself and the Spiders proud -- loved the comment, best helmet in the game!
Don't look now but Kyle has 198 yards passing and 3 touchdowns. Many of these are pin precision needle tight placements. Wow
He has upped his draft stock big time! Couldn’t have had a better outing. Watching him today his efficiency reminded me of watching drew brees. Quick, good footwork, accurate
So much free spider publicity in this game including Kyle's post game interview where he represented UR tremendously as usual.

That's exactly who I was thinking. Saints could use an early-round pick on a QB to develop for when Brees retires in a year or two
It has been great going out to the stadium these last several years & watching the games. Kyle is a special QB and has done some exciting things for us. Wish him great success. He's a standout with a good football mind and a great arm. I thought his post game interview was really good.

I'm sure some new mock drafts will come out next week. Will be interesting to see what they look like.
Anyone have a link to the interview with Kyle at the end of the game? Was watching in a bar and couldn't hear it. Crazy that the Reese's guy was also a UR grad!
What amazes me is we had this caliber a qb and had a coach that still couldn't win more that 6 games with him. How many times did he take a knee with the ball and over a minute left in the half? Tough times are ahead for the Spiders with this guy at the helm I fear.
Goes to show that it takes more than 1 guy to win. We played half the season before our running game and defense appeared.
How sweet it is! Could not have worked out any better for Kyle in the Senior Bowl! Way to go and way to bring publicity to the Spiders!
You have to have some balance. Kyle was awesome but when the other team knows you can't run they are going to pin their ears back and pressure you. We had a lot of big pass plays last year but sometimes it's better to have long, sustained drives that wear the opponent's defense out and keep your defense fresh. You can't have those drives without an effective running game. Huesman's specialty is defense and I think we were playing very good D down the stretch last year. I'm hoping we play more "complementary" football next year.
First of all, the level of play in the CAA is far better than most fans realize. They are playing on
level playing fields and have the luxury of being "a team".
Secondly, as someone has said , it takes more than 1 person to win a game. Was it the Sam Houston
game where we scored a ton of points, but Sam Houston scored more.
And lastly, while Kyle easily adapted to coaching changes, it doesn't mean everyone did. Huesman is a
very good head coach and we will be fine.
Huesman took a solid playoff team and made a zillion changes. Hopefully he has come to realize his mistakes and will not coach stupidly again.
Sad to realize that Kyle didn't get a chance to play in the playoffs his last two years. What could have been........
