The defense is just not very good. Giving up 57.1 from 2 and 52.9 from 3, outrebounded by 5 today.

I mean seriously did you not see the video? It’s a foul to flop. Burton was not touched at all and flopped.

The refs got it right. It doesn't matter we got outplayed today period.

I don’t think you’re allowed to reverse a foul call through replay in college basketball. I assume that is what Mooney was pissed about.
That being said, a flop was the correct call.
That was the single worst loss of the Mooney era, all things considered.

How are the Spiders ever expected to win when the Spiders take one shot per possession? No one ever goes to the offensive board when the ball goes up. But that is by the UR offensive design. I’ve been sick of this for years. The three point defense was also weak. Well, taller guards will get shots over smaller defenders.
They suck less than we do. Get ready for more disappointment.

Once again, the only way UR is getting into the NCAA tournament is to win the A-10 tournament, which may or may not even happen.

Sure this game came after a pause, but this same type of game has been seen before this season.
CM did prepare for this game. The performance in the game was foretold in the pre-game press conference. The players had to stay in hotel rooms “doing nothing”during the pause. It was impossible to be ready to play.
Despite the odds, the team managed to go 24 for 24 from the charity stripe. Truly amazing.

I’m on a few text chains and EVERYONE sees the bitching by the players to the refs. I hate to say it but we’ve become a little unlikable. Never thought I’d say that about my Spids. But I put on Mooney. Has us so passive & some of the guys r clearly playing w pressure from not meeting expectations and all the hype we got preseason that is long gone. Those casual UR fans long gone now too.

I have been saying all year, our defense is just out there trying to stay in front of people. No one is uncomfortable against us. Watched SDSU last night, they are having a bit of a down season and ton of injuries like us. But damn , they work there ass off on D. Its really night and day.
Missed most of the game to go to a funeral today. In parking lot afterwards and see a guy haven't seen in 10 years, took him to a URi richmond game 12 years ago. After pleasantries he mentions how Spiders looked so good early in the season and fading now. I said I know I know.
