Kentucky game observations

I am very curious where we'll land in today's poll with us having not played at all. Do some voters drop us a bit because they see the UK win as less impressive than initially thought?

UK will get it figured out. They will start hitting some shots and take better care of the ball as they gain experience. Winning @ Rupp is a great win.

Look, I’m not saying it’s not a good win.t will be a positive for us (assuming they do get things together). It just looks like it’s not going to carry as much weight with the committee as we hoped.

Georgia Tech is a bad loss...no two ways about that one. Kansas loss is obviously fine.

I don’t see how it’s controversial to say that our win over UK sure isn’t looking like a road win over the #10 team in the country.
The committee may look at UK differently, but so far AP hasn’t revisited our opponent.

Here's the thing about being ranked, unless we lose, we are going to stay in them. Now, our NET profile will take a hit, if Kentucky doesn't figures things out.

Yeah, good for us that we got in the poll when we did. GT gets no votes after beating UK. We add to our total without playing. Granted, GT shouldn’t be ranked anyway.

Yeah, interesting to see what the pollsters did. 23 moved us up, while 11 moved us down. Three that didn't have ranked last week moved us in.

Also interesting to watch the clustering as people drifted toward putting us at 19 since that's where we were last week.
