Kenny Atkinson Thanks Tarrant

Hopefully it will be put on line but on tonight's sports news on wric.com video was shown of Atkinson being introduced as the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets. He said a number of very positive things about Dick Tarrant including that the 88 year old Tarrant (actually 85 born August 4th, 1931) was unable to be there. Don't know any details about that last part and don't want to read anything into it but was very uplifting to hear such positive things about the influence of Tarrant on Atkinson and very positive press for Spider basketball.

I thought Kenny did a real nice job in the press conference. Nice touch to recognize his h.s. coach and the great Dick Tarrant. Really hope he does well, tough spot there but seems to be on the same page with his GM. Kenny's reputation is of a top line player developer.
