I hope the freshman coaching pattern of the past doesn't hold true. If he ends up like most of his predecessors, he will either be redshirted or only play 1-2 minutes per half during his first year.

This kid will have to play 30 minutes and run the team next year, whether he is ready or not. We are sooooo weak at the guard position!!

We are losing 35+ minutes from Kendall that will get distributed to some combination of Khwan, Kadeem and Julius. 3 points in 6 minutes would be amazing, Cline (.54) is the only one on our team who scores more points per minute than that!

Honestly, Julius is likely to play quite a bit. I recall that two freshmen, Kevin Anderson and Kendall Anthony were both "Freshmen Players of the Year" in the A10.

I agree with Ulla 1 that Julius will have to play significant minutes as a freshman, and should remind us of Kendall, just a larger sized-version! When I took a look at Julius' high-school tape, including the full-game tape, he appeared to be a strong defender too, which he will need to continue to develop. Am looking forward to seeing him getting lots of PT as a freshman. And, we know that it can happen when a player has "special" enough skills!

I don't see this at all. maybe I'm wrong. obviously we won't have known commodities, but I like what little I saw of Khwan and Kadeem. and Josh Jones is really catching my eye. I though he was just a shooter, but his defensive footwork is first rate. I think he might have a big bump in production next season.

Julius can play, but following his box scores he's certainly not scoring like last year. different team, different roles. I'm still high on him, but I don't expect him to come in and step right in for Kendall. we'll see.

In a game against Lake Worth Christian on Wednesday, Florida Air won 79 -43 and Julius led his team with 20 points (shows he made 8 shots so he must have made some three pointers). Go Julius! Go Florida Air!
