It seems like this is a good topic for a new thread. In response to the US' attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, Iran has launched attacks on US bases in Iraq and Qatar. Trump has said such retaliation will not be tolerated.

Will this continue until Iran gives up? Or will Iran capitulate before it has nothing left?
What will Russia do? Russia wants us to be distracted. Every missile we launch at Iran is a missile that we can't give to Ukraine.
What about China?
 
Now this is funny. It sounds like Iran did not want to upset Trump, so they gave us advanced notice before they launched the missiles at our base in Qatar. To heck with Iran, they fired at us, when we told them not to. We should turn Iran into a glass parking lot. Alternatively, we should give Israel all the weapons they want so they can finish the job.

Well, moderator, I thought this was going to be a big thread lasting years. If it turns out this 12-day war is over in another 7 days, we can just fold it into the Trump Administration thread.
 
Iran has lost the equivalent of $3 trillion on its nuclear program and its lost influence in Hamas, Hezbollah, and Russia. If I were a typical Iranian, I would be pissed.
 
Trump has forced a cease-fire too soon. We need to finish the job. Iran removed 400 kg of highly enriched uranium from its Fordow site last Friday, June 20, 2025. Look at the line of trucks in the picture. We had our foot on the neck of the mullahs in Iran. We are going to have to do this again and next time the Iranians will be ready. This is a decision he will regret.

Trump is a fundamentally weak leader. He is too full of his self image that he can't make good decisions.

I don't have that option. Cut and paste in other thread, then delete these in this thread if you want. But I agree with your sentiments. Trump cares only about Trump and Trump's money.

A preliminary classified U.S. report says the American bombing of three nuclear sites in Iran set back the country’s nuclear program by only a few months, according to officials familiar with the findings.

The strikes sealed off the entrances to two of the facilities but did not collapse their underground buildings, the officials said the early findings concluded.

Before the attack, U.S. intelligence agencies had said that if Iran tried to rush to making a bomb, it would take about three months. After the U.S. bombing run and days of attacks by the Israeli Air Force, the report by the Defense Intelligence Agency estimated that the program had been delayed, but by less than six months.

The report also said that much of Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium was moved before the strikes, which destroyed little of the nuclear material. Iran may have moved some of that to secret locations.....

Someone in the administration has loose lips. Big surprise. Gabbard is a known Russian agent. If not her, then somebody else, the leadership of the DOD is an absolute joke.
