Only yelling at CM I heard from Sec 4 or across the aisle in Sec 5 (and since I'm in Sec 4 I can talk) was that they wanted SDJ on the floor more. Obviously a compliment to his importance for our offense. Doubt CM can even hear it and could care less. He's a tough guy from Philadelphia so I'm sure he can take it.
Good to hear that from a guy like him. Although, he is probably also trying to save his own job to an extent, so it doesn't hurt him to talk about what a great team it was that just beat his own team. But he seemed genuine in his praise.
The NC State coach also was effusive in his praise of us when we played them, but let's be honest -- other coaches are not watching our program game in and game out, the way that we do. They probably wouldn't have been going nuts with praise if they'd seen our JMU or Mason games.

Recently read an article about how the Arizona State AD was planning to have discussions after the season about Sendek's future at ASU, even though Sendek recently signed an extension: http://www.thescore.com/ncaab/news/661338

From where I sit, I can tell you he was pissed every time Kendall and SDJ scored. He went up and down his line yelling at his guys for letting the little guys score. He was stunned they could score on his brutes. By the end of the second half, he realized how good they are. Then TA and TJ lit them up nicely.

Coach Sendek is a class act - not surprised to hear him talk about our program that way he did. I don't think his job is in jeopardy right now - they'll be bringing back 4/5 starters next year and should have a decent core to work with. His praise of the RC made sense since he and ASU fans here in the Valley have been longing for a new, upgraded facility for a while (Wells Fargo Arena is getting a bit long-in-the-tooth). They'd love to have a slightly larger version of the RC on their Tempe campus.

Seems a terribly short sighted decision by ASU. Sendeck was likely to have a NCAA tourney team next year. Now they face disruption. Maybe they had some big contributors who demanded a change. Still seems short-sighted.
He is a class act, he can coach elsewhere, if he wishes, or do television commentary.
