I was thinking about what good coaches vs bad coaches could do with our schedule and talent. We obviously don't have the best talent we've ever had, and we also obviously have one of our weaker schedules. Even the bigger name teams (Georgetown and Wake Forest) are not very good at all this year. Loyola Chicago was the best team we played, and I believe they are marginal for an at-large bid. So, including the Wake Forest game, here is what I think our record would be with various coaching levels:

Poor Coach: 3-5
Average Coach: 5-3
Good Coach: 7-1
Great Coach: 8-0

In my estimation, a win against a lousy team on Saturday could elevate Mooney to Poor Coach status.

What is the level below "Poor Coach" status?

Been saying forever, that if anyone deserve a spot on Mooney's staff its KA. KA is the reason that Mooney got this 10 million dollar contract. He should be tithing at least 10% of his contract to KA every year.
