Thanks. Is that really a tradition? Seems sort of odd, but again, I know very little about sports. Just curious, but it also a tradition to throw the ball to the other team and drop it a lot? The RU fans dressed in purple and gold cheered a lot when that happened, which is why I'm asking.

A REAL UR fan would NEVER wear Purple and Gold!

RU fans would also not wear purple and gold. RU (Radford Univ) colors are not the same as JMU's colors.
