Disturbing that a new poster believes another poster is rude with a contrary opinion. Truly no offense, but I am concerned that snowflakes have found Spidernation.Yes I'm new here. I don't think that should mean I have to suck up to others and agree with everything they say. I don't care if he is someone who has been here a day or 10 years, acting rude is acting rude. Bringing up how long I have been on the forum has nothing to do with this. I only responded the way I did due to how I viewed him responding to me. But this is between me and him and I mean no disrespect to him. I've already moved on from this with him. I'm not going to let 5 posts get in the way of my potential interactions with someone who I know is a diehard Spiders fan. Heat of the moment, nothing else.

I might have heard/read somewhere that if he transfers, the schools he is considering are Kansas, Nebraska & Syracuse.
His hs is on spring break. Heard he was shooting hoops in RC.
Need a photo
The /pats head/ thing was pretty condescending.I mean, you asked him some specific questions and he gave you some specific answers. That's not condescending, IMO.

There’s an untenable level of rancor on here these days. Everyone needs to get a cocktail and some quaaludes and show back up next fall with a refreshed interest in our program.
My suggestion to all is -- when someone posts in a manner that rubs you wrong, take a few deep breaths and relax before responding. Answer a question, respond to a comment, but let the deprogramming work itself out
he can have an amazing relationship with Grant and still not choose to play here. and that's ok. everyone chooses their own path.Ever think he might not get along great with his bro and there isnt a chance in hell he wants to b on the same team as him or go to the same school. I think if he wanted to play w his brother it would have happen right away.
Agree Spiderman, would think we have some type of shot now. The bad part is now Pitt may get a good coach that can re-sell him on the decision. He did commit to Stallings, so as bad as he seems (Stallings), this seem to be a positive for Richmond.he can have an amazing relationship with Grant and still not choose to play here. and that's ok. everyone chooses their own path.
but we do have a better shot today than we did yesterday, now that he said he'll consider his options. Bryce likely still stays at Pitt when they find a good new coach. he'll likely have great options if he leaves. but there's a chance and there's a starting spot available here at the 4. no point giving up now.
This message board would have a lot less venom and more thought behind every post if the posts were not anonymized behind monikers and user names. Your real name and picture beside each post would tone things down. Not saying people would not still get negative, just way less negative that it has gotten to.
Back to the more important issues. What type of hoodie is Bryce wearing at the A10 tourney?
Plus, what he said was true. Obviously Pitt wasn’t paying its players.https://www.diehards.com/louisville...former-pitt-coach-kevin-stallings-fortune/amp
Pretty lame by the school if this story is true.
I see attorneys salivating, wanting to represent the coach.https://www.diehards.com/louisville...former-pitt-coach-kevin-stallings-fortune/amp

The "mediocre" league has three teams in the tournament. More than the PAC12. Hmmmmm.Agree with Moliva on the "strong conference" argument. We did move to the A10 to play better competition and be able to compete for at large bids.
I was actually against the move from the CAA at the time. I thought we could win that tournament every other year, and was afraid of being able to compete with the big state schools (umass, uri) that could move lessor students through the hoops program.
JB showed it can be done.
And since we did make the move - we need to be all in. I wish we were still competing against the great Chris Mack and Xavier. and Butler was still in the conference. Now, we seem to be very happy that we can compete .500 against a mediocre league. That gets you somewhere every 15 years.

Pride, apparently you have missed the memo. Logic and results have no place onThe "mediocre" league has three teams in the tournament. More than the PAC12. Hmmmmm.
Do you know this for sure to be a fact? Just because its not being covered in the media doesn't mean we arent recruiting. IIRC, didnt Sal's signing kind of sneak up on us? Like less then a week after finding out about him he signed? I do admit, I would prefer to hear some news regarding where we are going next with recruiting. The fact that we aren't really recruiting anyone prominent now is interesting.
I'd like to know why (basketball-wise) you think he's a perfect fit?The longer time of no announcement, the less likely it seems a step though Bryce will transfer. Normally players make an announcement within one week that they are asking for a release. Just like the other Pitt recruit. Bryce could potentially be waiting to see who the next head coach will be before making a decision.
It's a shame because I think Bryce is a perfect fit for our team and will excel a lot here. However, I wish him the best of success if he chooses to remain with Pitt.
