Richmond hosted 2017 big man Ejike Obinna of Virginia Academy (VA) on Sunday, per a source.

Ejike Obinna is listed as a 6-10 220 pound Center from Nigeria via Virginia Academy.

He is highly recruited with offers from: Miami, St. Joes, Temple, GT, Seton Hall, Mason, URI, VT, Cincinnati, LSU, Xavier, and Clemson.

Good article about him.

I had heard from another source that he is a really smart kid and education is very important.

Awesome, looks like someone with build, background that we would really want to get. Looks like he has a lot of great offers as well though for stiff competition--glad they already got him on campus. Wonder if that was official or unofficial?
