Got outrebounded and everything else tonight. 80 plus points to St.Francis. Don't care about the refs or any excuses.....

I will stand by the loudest cheer was down ~10 when they missed their 2nd consecutive FT for free Bojo’s

spelled crapping wrong and no space after the comma.

Does this help?Pass it on to your Little Boyfriends. It’s an exclusive club.

The Anality on the Basketball Board continues to amuse.Little boys peeing and crapping in their pants uncontrollably, no great thinkers but great at critiquing.

In all seriousness since I've been here nothing amuses me more than 32's posts in the off topic forum. Be kind to say he's out in left field, but more appropriately out in the left field picnic area.

I will give the guys credit, when they got desperate and stopped playing Mooneyball, they completely out played SFU for the win.

They deserve the credit for not cracking and coming through in the clutch.

But where was that for the other 38 mins?

The team has talent, especially on offensive. There are some weaknesses on defense that could be minimized with good coaching. We just didn’t see any until the last 2 mins of the game.

These kids deserve better.

But you're complaining about the complainers complaining, which is nothing but complaining.

Make sure your fraternity Mommy changes all your pants so you can begin to pee and crap uncontrollably again in a nice clean pair of pants beginning next Thursday at 7:01 pm.

Well..I’ll be. There was a 0 percent chance we win that game at 1:41 down 10. I’ll have to re-watch that on Youtube to figure out how that was possible.

They didn’t even give the Bojo’s coupons out down stairs. Another debacle along with the broken scoreboard and only 6 cheerleaders.
Fwiw, they’re always short on cheerleaders while football season is still in play. Can’t speak to the scoreboard or bojangles coupons though. At least they sorted out the scoreboard.

The way we played the last 2 minutes of the game + overtime, is the way VCU plays ALL game EVERY game....hint-hint....

We've got the talent and the depth now to play balls-to-the-wall defense. Just sayin'

Your continued avoidance of the slide of our Basketball program continues to amaze me. Must be one of PQ's Bros? The same issue with not being able to guard players one on one - repeated blow bys and uncontested put backs is really just comical at this point. Now back to your land of loving Mooney mediocrity bra.

Believe some are studying abroad this semester.

Hey first of all it was an entertaining game with 180 points in regulation. Second,
SFU hit some tough well defended 3s and hit open 3s like us when given an opportunity.
I loved the small team pressure of Gilyard, Francis, Sherod, Burton and Cayo. Their
pressure was solid and would have loved seeing this earlier in game to speed SFU up.
Gus had rough offensive night but is tough defender. Loved seeing Woj hit those open 3s.

A win make me happy. And no worries about the Bojangles coupons. They rarely are prepared with enough coupons when the opponent misses two free throws in a row in the second half. In the past for the next few games after this has happened Bojangles has people walking around handing out better coupons in a random fashion. Caveat - past actions are no indication of future actions.

And as far as cheerleaders 05 did more in his second half "We Are UR cheer" to get the crowd fired up than the cheerleaders did the entire game. An yes probably second was the tall Lithuanian St. Francis player missing the two free throws in a row for the Bojangles "reward".

Haven't read through all the threads yet, but did anyone nitice during player introductions pregame they showed Gilyard on the big board as being from St Louis.

The best part was all the "fans" who left early!!!! lol.... one of the best finishes in recent memory.... VCU down by 9 with like less than a minute left comes to mind..Brothers hit a last minute shot (if i remember correctly)

I think even the most diehard spider fan was pretty deflated with about 2 minutes to play. "Here we go again". Credit to the team for never giving up...at the very least that should give them confidence early in the season. It does show how fun and effective this group can be when allowed to play fast and not be micro managed by the coach (Yes, I had to get that dig in.). Looks like we are well on our way to 18-20 wins and another fun season on the message board ;) 1-0 is better than 0-1. Go Spiders.

Andrew Wallace of ESPN 950 wasn't much different on the twitter during the game than this thread. Except this guy completely turtles up when Jabba the Hardt visits the studio.

An argument can be made that by shuffling 10 players throughout, the starters had enough gas in the tank left to play a press the final three minutes and pull out the win.
