Doesn’t a player have to see court time to get a handshake or no handshake? Hope he lands where he gets playing time.He was always supporting the team on the sidelines and was always on tv because of it. Sure seemed his teammates liked him, but once you’re in the Mooney no handshake doghouse you are done.
Like Richmond?Did I do that? Lol. Yes, this was predictable. I wish him luck wherever he ends up, which is probably a lower level D-1 school.
I disagree.Should have 3: Burton, Crabtree, Dread (Grace and Goose taken by Tanner and Smith)
CorrectJust confirming Dread is the only transfer out so far? Checked the transfer thread and I’m 8 pages behind so not reading thru it all. I’m assuming a transfer out would get their own thread but just making sure I’m not missing anything?
Nothing on Twitter. Only got a few tweets about him entering, and given his stats unlikely to get much attention until he finds a landing spot.Has anyone swiped right on Dread yet?
the Giper started to call him, then realized he wasn't someone else's transfer and hung up.Has anyone swiped right on Dread yet?
This is why I never did online dating too? And lol, Spiderman. That cracked me up.Nothing on Twitter. Only got a few tweets about him entering, and given his stats unlikely to get much attention until he finds a landing spot.
That was damn funny. If Gipe can 2 for about 200 with quality transfers, that will be awesome.the Giper started to call him, then realized he wasn't someone else's transfer and hung up.
Gipe may use the same method when dating. Ask out 200 to get 2 dates. That was damn funny. If Gipe can 2 for about 200 with quality transfers, that will be awesome.
And those are two baggers.Gipe may use the same method when dating. Ask out 200 to get 2 dates.
I think people were generally impressed and optimistic about the transfers we brought in last year, which I think Gipe was given some credit for. Also, some people are excited about Trevor Smith and/or Collin Tanner next season, which I think Gipe is also given some credit for.Can someone remind me what Gipe has done to earn a lot of praise on this board? I’m not knocking him, I honestly don’t know who he’s brought into the program.
If you can sell, you can sell.Roche, Bigelow, Quinn.
And some here believe if you need a new set of cuttery, Gipe is your man.
Absolutely true, In order to walk the walk, you must talk the talk!If you can sell, you can sell.
Well, as the person who may or may not have suggested that Gipe would make a good knife salesman, I will say that we have heard from Dji's dad that Gipe was instrumental in his recruiting and I have heard that Gipe is well respected in the locker room. I think Grant praised him last year for helping him develop his game. I think he is viewed as kind of the head of our recruiting efforts, whether that is entirely accurate or not, not entirely sure. Can someone remind me what Gipe has done to earn a lot of praise on this board? I’m not knocking him, I honestly don’t know who he’s brought into the program.
I like Boyden too.Gipe is well liked on this board because he appears to be a genuine, hard working guy, that is seen on recruiting trail and social medias relentlessly. That said, I really like the hire of Boyden. Over the years, I think we have had too many Mooney lifers that seem to be ingrained in the ways of finesse, there's always next year, defense is only tactical (not embedded in toughness in the culture), etc etc. I am not sure if Gipe has a voice or not when it comes to trying to prompt and help Mooney improve in certain areas. I feel like Boyden does and was even mentioned by Mooney on the defensive end, which seemed to have a renewed energy - at least at the start of the season.
