Those stats have us dead last in the A-10 with opponents shooting 2.7% better at the Robins Center than they do at home.............................

Mooney could never coach free throw defense. Fire him and get Sendek in here. ; )

Our FT distraction seems to work on a couple of our players pretty well.

We found that distraction works. On average, college basketball players are about one percentage point less likely to make a free throw when in front of a hostile crowd than when at home. On average, the sixth man's ability to distract opposing free throwers is worth about 0.2 points per game.

If the Spiders only had 0.2 more points each game..........

Oh, what could have been!

Robbins Center +2.7. I distinctly remember that the Robbins Center renovation was responsible for a lot of poor three-point shooting. Appears as though the stats have some significant splaining to do.

Speaking of attempted distraction. How about the St Francis head coach yelling BOX OUT every time our guys were about to release a free throw. Little bush league to me.

Good catch. I said in my first post that I was not a graduate of the University of Richmond. Just a good basketball fan. Sometimes helps in keeping eyes wide open.

Free Throws have come a long way. From throwing batteries, to coins, to now just images.

I think we missed the mass of camera flashes era.
