Actually, his hair might be a little taller than CM's.Not very athletic, plays the role of a big man, but is shorter than Mooney. What are we doing?
I would really like it if they could work on the 2 spots open
Rising sophomore looks like he has a college ready body already.
Don't we only have one open spot?
One open this year, three next year. If you can predict how many slots we will have open in 2019, that would really challenge your Kenpom stat predictor machine.
Do we know Kirby's situation this year?I would say we currently have one open spot this year / 4 next year, so I am confused about what two open spots SpiderHoops32 was talking about.

What is it, 32counter, that you gain by disparaging a high school sophomore? That you get to say "I told you so" 3 years from now? I support your right to post, but really want to know why so frickin negative on everything, including, evidently, extending a scholarship offer to a sophomore you've almost certainly never seen, spoken to, or heard of before this thread? Please stop drinking that delusional inducing lemonade stuff.

Agree, spiderman. By the time he "grows up", Dajour is likely to be a stud. OSCI assumed by "college-ready" he just meant not skinny. of course he'd go on a weights program, and college level conditioning is way beyond HS. but a lot of tall kinds in early high school are very thin. he looks solid ... for a 16 year old.
I have us as losing 5 to graduation (Cline, Jones, Wood, Bernard, and Abakah), and thus three more 'ships to fill for 2017 plus the one still open this year. Who am I missing?Yes, 4 next year, you are right. We lose 6 to graduation but have 2 commits already. Agree that we are done this year as well. I'm sure we will still are actively looking for a piece this year, but the pool we are fishing in, has to be getting pretty minute at this point.
that's accurate. so 5 will graduate next spring, 1 is still available now and likely to be carried over (that's 6), minus 2 already verballed ... 4 more next year.I have us as losing 5 to graduation (Cline, Jones, Wood, Bernard, and Abakah), and thus three more 'ships to fill for 2017 plus the one still open this year. Gospider I can see you're relatively new to this board. We have some posters that rank as some of6'5"ish big body high school sophomore, why would anyone on here have issues with us showing interest in this guy? By the way good chance that a 14 or 15 year old will grow a few more inches.
I think if next season we end up with adding 3 bigs to what we already know, including 2 grad transfers, mirroring this season, then we will have evened out the classes.that's accurate. so 5 will graduate next spring, 1 is still available now and likely to be carried over (that's 6), minus 2 already verballed ... 4 more next year.
I don't think we'll put 6 in a class, so hopefully 2 of those 4 (if we even use all 4) will be grad transfers. otherwise there's no slot for the 2018 B Golden class, and that won't happen.
Agreed. Another recruit, yawn... at this point he just feels like the flavor of the day.Not very athletic, plays the role of a big man, but is shorter than Mooney. What are we doing?

Committed to Marshall, who won a game in the NCAA this year. What a freaking loser our coach is when it comes to recruiting.
So according to the anti-Mooney side this is someone we should have gotten. But also according to them if we would have gotten him the narrative would have been "the only teams interested in him were Marshall, Hampton, Old Dominion, and Norfolk State."
Gotta pick one side, can't flip-flop between arguments when it's convenient.
So are so wrong man. This guy would've been a solid player for us and I don't think any of us would have said anything that we shouldn't want him because if his other offers. Those are better schools to be competing against than schools like Siena, quinippiac, NJIT, and some random D2 school. Mooney is a terrible talent evaluator. Let me go take over recruiting and I bet I bring in a better class every year than him.So according to the anti-Mooney side this is someone we should have gotten. No, I am not stirring the pot. I just feel like we cannot close on legit A10 talent, unless there is some odd circumstance.Bringing up a guy we haven't shown interest in in years... nothing like stirring the pot, is there 23?
