You realize that young graduates like Mr. Gray are generally the type of guys who get quality-control jobs, right? They are essentially graduate assistants getting their first exposure to college coaching, as support-service for the full-time assistants.

Every program in the country operates in this fashion.

Southern Miss: New head coach Will Hall(Tulane OC) has officially added Louisiana inside linebackers coach Austin Armstrong (defensive coordinator/inside linebackers), former Tulane analyst Mark Criner (outside linebackers), Richmond defensive line coach Brandon Lacy (defensive line ) and Central Arkansas defensive coordinator Chad Williams (cornerbacks).

Jeff Hanson likely replacement at DL.Coach Lacy could sure recruit.2 signees from Louisiana tomorrow.

At UR for only 2019 season (hired Feb 2019).3 kids.Tough nomadic life.

Too bad heard West was good. Now have just 3 defensive asst coaches on staff going into spring season. We'll replace but yikes. Looks like a little too much attrition with roster & coaches. Is that accurate 32? Just what I glean from some of the posts this winter.

Lacy went So.Miss and West goes to App State.Gotta figure both got reasonable bumps in salary.Not sure how the co-defensive coordinator title was gonna work out in any case after Braithwaite left for UNCC.
No DL replacement yet but gotta figure Jeff Hanson could take on that responsibility if he wants it.

With regard to the roster it’s not clear where 2 of the 3 frosh scholarships landed.Wistar Allen LB is a PWO at ECU.
Holden Ayers OL and Jordan Smith LB remain unknown.
