As I understand it, there is a signing for transfers just like for high school commits. It's a contract where the school is offering you X amount of aid offsetting the costs of attending for one year.

Darris Nichols to Radford. Former Beilein recruit/player w good coaching exp. Great choice although also a no brainer giving he grew up there. Darris was 1 of 2 up & coming assistants, along with Luke Murray, I mentioned we should be after in the Fire Mooney thread, if we ever went the assistant coach route.

We had lots of great options in this 2021 coaching carousel cycle & a number have moved on. Darris still someone we should keep or eye on if Mooney falters with perhaps the oldest, most veteran team in the history of college basketball.
