In order to watch tonight's game on tv, is it necessary to pay a subscription for ACCNX? Or can you just pay for one game?

BC has two out of three of their 10 PPG scorers returning this year, and have some bench players and transfers stepping up to fill some of their voids. Overall, they seem to have a balanced lineup of possible scorers so it will be tough to match up.

Players to look out for: Quentin Post (Sr) and Claudell Harris Jr. (So)

Post, a former Mississippi State transfer, has now become BC's top scorer and asset. At 7 ft tall as a forward, his game and how they play him remind me of what Popovich is looking to do with Wemby. Not only is he an asset on the boards, the man from Amsterdam can really shoot. Last season he shot 42.6% from beyond the arc, was an 86% free throw shooter and was efficient down low. He broke out for 31 against Fairfield and is currently shooting 71.4% from beyond the arc in his first two games. He could be a huge problem.

Harris is a sneaky pick, but I think he could have a breakout game in this one. Harris transferred to BC from Charleston Southern where he scored 17.4 PPG. He shot a lot of 3's at a 33% clip, but is only shooting 11% this year so far, I don't expect that to continue. If we contain other players, I expect Harris to pick up the slack and prove himself as an asset

How Richmond can win:

Contain Post. It's not going to be easy at his size and having to worry about other playmakers, but the game goes through him when they win. If we can keep him at bay and under 15 points, I think we have a shot.

Additionally, we need to take care of the basketball. BC doesn't turn the ball over much, and they don't commit a lot of fouls unnecessarily. Trust in our system and move the basketball to find the right opportunities.

BC forces teams to shoot well from outside while containing down low, so we need to drive and kick to the open shooters and knock them down efficiently to give ourselves a chance.

I think the analysts predicting rankings in the pre season is an impossible art in the portal error, especially when ranking non power conference teams. Every team is a mishmosh combination with fewer returning players.
UR seems to be a good example of that.
Curious if you have caught any of the early games and if you have noticed any difference (based on a small sample size obviously)?

This team does a much better job of getting good shots from our offensive sets than last year's team. Also helps when King can hit just inside the logo threes and Hunt is forcing turnovers while the other team is trying to inbound the ball. BC looks very unimpressive right now

Yes, we need to look for more back doors and stop being 3 happy. We let that early 14 pt lead fooled us, just get back to business.
