underbelly? when i lived in new orleans, the guy who did football cards, lived in my neighborhood and was a hospital administrator. the big easy is a huge sports town and a big betting town, not to mention drinking and marching.

Cobweb, I would think that the old saw: "Location, location, location" would be the key. The Greenbriar is not too far from us and has a first class casino. The state has an off site betting location just outside of Martinsville. Personally, I enjoy the comraderie of a small stakes poker game.
