Yes, back in the late 90's he was picked as the Sportscaster of the Year in Virginia. We are lucky to have him as the Voice of the Spiders.

Bob's show was great back in the day and because he was a Spider, he covered us quite well

Bob is very good as a talk show host. I think it allows a little more of his personality to come through than PBP broadcasting does.

That said, no one will want to tune in tomorrow morning because Bobby Bobbinson of VCU is the substitute host.
