This season has been a downer but let's hang up the gripes for one day and give our guys all we've got. Terry, Trey, Deion and John have given their all for us, so the least we can give them is a memorable Senior Night.

Beat Dayton.

Seems like the line on this is swinging anywhere from +1 to -1.5. Much closer than I would have guessed, I suspect Dayton is getting a bad line given their recent skid.

Yes Dayton's recent skid has people wondering about them but UR is so inconsistent I think it's hard to set a line with these guys. The Spiders can probably beat almost anybody with a great shooting night. Think though this game might be a tough one to win unless the 3 ball is going down.

Dayton does give up plenty of points from the outside but limits teams getting many inside the paint. Seems logical being a smaller team collectively clogging up the paint. I would want UR to go inside offensively but might be easier said than done.

Pollard is back plus D Davis is playing tonight. Lots of guys who can be the man scoring on any given night but recently nobody as stepped up in doing so. Do the Flyers continue to struggle or turn it around? Thinking of UR's defense this year I prefer not to give an answer.

Hopefully Miller doesn't find enough mismatches with his quicker players able to go around the Spider's bigs in creating easy shots around the rim. Dayton does have some players who can shoot the 3, they just don't rely on it to win.

Noise tonight in the Robins Center from the opening tip!

If both teams play their average possession for the season every possession in this game, then UR wins 71-70.
The odds of that are...

It is our senior night, so my question is to do Trey, Deion, and Terry go out in a blaze of glory or do we would send in our typical performance against an upper echelon A-10 team and lose by 8 or 9? I hope for the players sake it is the former.

7:10 and we are about 15% fannies in the seats. Hope we do better.

About 35% full with 25 students in attendance for Senior announcements.

Got to about 60% full with 40 students by the time they finished with the Senior introductions. The ones here made some good noise for the guys.

Why do we have all 5 guys outside the 3 point circle?
4 straight possesions dayton scores to start second half.

Can we just take the ball out on the baseline on every possession? My goodness, that's an amazing play

The big choke is on!!!! TA can't make a free throw to save his ass.

Unreal!!! What a really really bad exchange for the spiders. Kwon goes for the miraculous dunk but doesnt really come close and dayton hits a 3

Congrats to the players, for playing hard tonight. But I'm off the CM bandwagon, we lost because we were outcoached. Very sad.

3pt defense loses another one for us:

FT:
Dayton: 18-28 (64%)
Richmond: 20-27 (74%)

2FG:
Dayton: 20-35 (57%)
Richmond: 26-40 (65%)

3FG:
Dayton: 9-15 (60%)
Richmond: 4-17 (24%)

When you let teams shoot 60% from 3 you are just not going to win many games. We took and made more shots than Dayton, we made more free throws than Dayton, we just can't defend the 3 this year and it has cost us many, many games.

Fan2011, we just don't hold our hands up on the perimeter. Our players crouch down to get the block. So stupid!!! Mooney was pleading with them to raise their hands on defense.
