It hasn't been easy and it won't be easy going forward but maybe we can recover and keep this great program we have rolling. I'll keep a positive attitude and hopefull Huesman changes my mind at about this time next year. We have plenty of talent and hopefully we can keep it all going into next year. I think we can all agree that it is kind of scary that we may have another monster on the rise in UD with the way that jmu is already dominating the league. The only reason I doubt Huesman is because I don't think the SoCon is a very good league and to be honest he didn't do too much in the playoffs once he got there. I really hope he proves me wrong.
The thing is you aren't being positive. You are asking antagonizing questions while name calling our AD with no evidence and calling out posters who are correct that Rocco left in a classless manner. Some of these posters are going to keep carving you up if you keep posting that way.
UD is currently a has been and Rocco should have them rise up. They literally remind me of the Michigan of FCS but Rocco is no Harbaugh. I do agree they will be better but I am not so sure he will have them up to speed as quickly as he did here. I expect a losing season this year unless he can load up on transfers.
I can take that argument about the SoCon and say the same thing. Big South was a far worse conference when Rocco was in it and didn't even have an auto bid for some years. The SoCon is weaker after GASO and APPST but still serviceable for FCS. UTC has far, far less resources then Liberty did when Rocco was there.
I say I welcome the competition. I like it when our charter members and traditional rivals do well. Cant stand these Albany and Stony Brook games. Give me strong NOVA, JMU, WM, Delaware anyday over that, makes the games great. Those games 07-09 between all those programs were savage. UD needs Rocco way more then we need him
