The lady moon defenders here seem to think we can land more impactful players than an all Ivy 19 ppg player w 2 years left. And for the Fourteenth ship too! A dumb move a week ago but now that Moon is seemingly adding it…brilliant. Yeah it’s definitely working.

2 year HC, 1st at VCU, asst at only low level leagues. Already running circles around our 20-year dean of A10 coach. When does the 20 year experience help us exactly? My best guess is year 23 when he has 1 year left on deal! Never increased expectations. Ho hum.

We only have brief 7-10 day windows of time where our roster is stronger than theirs every few years when they are between coaches. No "better job" ever comes calling for our guy though, so we get to benefit from 20 years of continuity right!?

NCAA bringing down the hammer on Fordham, which has to vacate all wins from 2021-23 for a series of recruiting violations, including taking pictures of recruits at the Times Square. Seems like the death penalty would be warranted here!!

Not sure if Fordham beat us in any of this years, but if so the Moonman's win percentage just increased and we didn't even play a game. Mooney is playing 3D chess here guys (at least when it comes to his contract and compensation).
you can pay a kid a million bucks now based on a settlement that says it never should have been prohibited in the first place, but let's investigate the Fordham basketball team for using a professional photographer to dominate the college basketball recruiting landscape.

The photo thing isn't a huge deal, but they surely should have known the recruiting entertainment expenses weren't permissible. $75 limit per day and you're spending $5k to send them to a Giants game with an on-field meet-and-greet. Or $1,500 to send a recruit, three other family members, and his AAU coach to a Nets game.
(And no, Mooney doesn't get any additional wins from this...we beat them both times we played them in the two affected seasons, including 2022–23 when they went 25–8 and finished tied for 2nd in the A-10 while we were muddling along at sub-.500.)
