Another guard/wing. Started his career at UNH and should have 1 year left. Solid numbers at Maine, had 19 against us this year.
This is a prime example of how this board continues with its negativity. We’re discussing a good player thatToo bad no package deal w Maine coach. That would have been my first choice of a transfer from Maine. But I guess Lopez will have to do.
I like his quick release, his catch and shoot, ability to create, only wish his release was higher.I said I wanted a shooter with size. 6'5 with 56 made 3s at 40.3%. Nice! I also like that he was 101-115 at the FT line last year. Not only is the 87.8% impressive, so is the volume. He makes 3s, gets to the line, and makes FTs.
We will see if he can be as productive in the A-10. I guess some on here will say he moved down a level since Maine had a better NET than us last year. Only 1 team in their conference had a higher NET than Maine's 205 NET, but if the guy can play, he can play. The minutes are definitely there for someone his size to grab. I like the addition.

This is a prime example of how this board continues with its negativity. We’re discussing a good player that
Mooney is bringing into the system, and many of us are pleased. But then there is always one that has to
throw in a negative. It’s a shame that some of us that want to enjoy the good moments aren’t allowed to
without negative Nelly throwing in their negative remarks

From thecan't argue with the stats, but shoots 3's from his chin. little concerned that the move up to the A10 might find him with less space to shoot. but good looking player.
Maine weirdly doesn't list weight on their roster.
from what I seeI like his quick release, his catch and shoot, ability to create, only wish his release was higher.
from what I see in his highlights, his release point in catch and shoot is around him chin, but when he shoots off the dribble it much higher and around his forehead, I don’t think that it will affect him that much. Also worth noting that he played against 3 A10 teams this last season (Us, Fordam, and Duquesne). In these games he scored 19, 24 and 17. I like this addition to the squad. He’s athletic, good shoot the 3 and is an efficient scorer. I assume he starts at the 3, I think this team is better than last years (not saying much), this years team success rides on the redshirt freshmen and the development of players like Tanner and Tyne. We’ll see how it goes this year.can't argue with the stats, but shoots 3's from his chin. little concerned that the move up to the A10 might find him with less space to shoot. but good looking player.
