Until we hear otherwise, I would expect the Furman game to be on. Furman has 2 players, Botheell and Mounce, who are very strong. They have balanced scoring and strong bench support. Furman is facing challenging games, UR, Cincinnati and Alabama.

By the way, I was not referenced Mark Fuhrman in the OP.
If Furman has only two players, I like our odds at a win. Also, it's less likely that Furman will disrupt the game with a positive test, as there are only two players who could test positive.

How many people are traveling with the team. Coaches, players, a manger or two, maybe the team doctor, is that it?

I am a little confused about this too. On the podcast mentioned in the other threads, the insinuation was that the "cause" if you will, was someone sitting close to someone on a flight. Don't we charter everywhere these days?

If so, then it's unlikely that random staff person who has limited contact with the players/coaches was sitting on a plane around/behind/in front of, a non UR affiliated passenger who either had symptoms or tested positive him/herself.

I heard it as the staff member(s) who tested positive was who that reference was to (e.g. everyone was wearing masks but players were within 6 feet of that person on a charter).

I wouldn't bet against basketball being shut down as we enter the new year.
