A10 final regular season standing forecast

I am not sure how much it matters, but if we can split our 2 games with VCU we have a good chance at finishing 2nd in the A10 regular season based on looking at the top contender's schedules for the rest of the year. Outside of VCU our remaining 12 games are a fairly easy schedule where we are already done with Dayton, RI and St. Louis.

RI has to play Dayton twice, VCU and St. Louis

Assuming Dayton is 1, then 2 or 3 helps because only 3 games and no Dayton til Sunday.

Agreed, we are in very good shape of we take care of business. Split with VCU and we are looking good. Sweep them and it would be difficult to imagine finishing worse than second.

Guess it depends on what the goal is. If it is simply a top 4 finish in conference, then a split should do it. If the goal is the NCAAs, I think a sweep is required.

A sweep means VCU cannot make it as an at-large ahead of us, unless we lose to Fordham and UMass or something. So it definitely would help by eliminating one member of our at-large competition.

We are really good at finishing in the top 3 of our conference. I like this plan.

RI Rams own the VA Rams. They are 5-1 in the last 6. I am not sure why that is.

URI comes before VCU alphabetically? Hasn’t worked for us yet...
