Also: wouldn't you say we're more "needley" than leafy? I think we need to correct this one.
Fair. Or mulchy. But leafy symbolically works better imo and because it came via former UR rector and #1 Mooney benefactor Paul Queally.

Next year wont be any better. Cant see Mooney righting this ship. Best case scenario is getting it closer to .500 and that will also be w a cupcake OOC. How long do they keep him if this abysmal performance and record go another year?
Oh yeah, I wasn't blaming you, I was saying that the original quote from him was inaccurate.
Mooney gets a blank check..we've seen this before....in 2 or 3 yrs of dismal results, we will make a miracle run when his seat is so hot he can't sit on it and get extended to save his @$$ for another 4 or 5 yrs...

if we thought this years non-conference schedule was weak wait until you say what Moon comes up with next season to pad the win totals. He's going to be contacting the bottom 12 NET teams from this season to get them on the schedule
heck next year Moon just has to go middle of pack in A10. Then he gets all the laurels. the media & the Mooners will say what a great job he did taking worst place team, look at savvy Chris Mooney do it again! Ignoring all the bad and only recognizing the less common good, and even the average.
he's gotten 24 year job security. nobody would have 4 more years left (after this season!) with his 20 year performance. nobody. we're in reset mode. see redshirts. it's why we could make that move. To answer your question, becauase of contract, he easily gets 2 more years of absolutely abysmal performance after this one. But if he moves us to average in 1 of them he's fine, because that will be exceptional coaching.
