Every one of those road games is a fairly easy drive from UR, except Colgate. But that would be the prettiest drive to make, up through the Finger Lakes region. Hamilton is a neat little college town.

Colgate is in Hamilton. Hamilton College is in Clinton. I have no idea why. Colgate also has Baptist roots, as it was founded in 1819 as the Baptist Education Society.

How far is Fordham? I’m thinking for the future?
It's 347 driving miles. Easy-Peasy if you're going from Boise to Salt Lake City (340 miles) at 85 mph on I-84 across the rural west, it's a 4.5-hour vacation. Not so easy if you're dealing with I-95 traffic through DC, Philadelphia and NYC.

Wood, for those that may be able to make the trip, what's the best travel option to Moscow, Idaho?

Many more flights will be available to Spokane (code GEG). Moscow is about a 90-minute drive from the airport.

There are flights into Pullman-Moscow (PUW), from Seattle. Moscow is five minutes from the airport.

I expect the team will be staying at the University Inn, right across the Pullman-Moscow Highway from the KibbieDome. It's a nice place. There is also a LaQuinta that is decent on the other end of the Empire Mall, also very convenient to the Dome.

There are also some motels/hotels in Pullman that are more than nice enough. Or, stay in Spokane and drove down and back the day of the game.

Moscow weather next week looks decent, highs in the 40s, lows in the upper 30s, no rain. I'm considering driving up since the Columbia Gorge shouldn't be icy.

If you don't mind playing cold golf, WSU has an outstanding course, Palouse Ridge. Not sure if it's still open but they haven't had any snow yet.

Right now Colgates schedule is full, obviously that has to change. Do we know what game they're dropping and that we are for sure on the road? Curious how they sort it out

I'm still bitter about UNC stealing Lawrence Taylor from right under our nose the day before signing day. Imagine if him and Jim Kelly came to UR to play with his brother....

LT was coming here before unc, for real?never heard that b4.

UNC has offered Belichick the job and the board of trustees is holding an emergency meeting today, presumably to approve a contract for him.

We’ll see. Teams in the SEC are going to still want “breaks” near the end of the season if the playoffs remain in their current format.

I don’t gamble, only speculation. After watching the press conference yesterday
It’s clear to me we are headed for a mini NFL in BCS top Tier?
I think the NFL paved the way for this fiasco, what you think?

I think we each put up $100 and you give odds.Otherwise don’t give any future odds
without backing it up.Just a credibility thing.

I think Huesman has undercut that himself with exact same speculation b4
I heard him say it also, something to the effect he did not think they would last but told them to get all of them on schedule they could, and contracts signed so FBS team has to buy out the game and we just schedule someone else.

If they pay us not to play them…that’s not the worst for us (assuming Hardt put in a good buyout). I suspect we play it though. He wants Ws.
