You are a depressing SOB 32😫
Only deal with objective realism.I’m never depressed. You are a depressing SOB 32😫
This sounds very very much like what happened with a certain basketball coach at Richmond last year. Oh well, you can't fight human nature. Or maybe you can. This was certainly a good season for the Spiders but this was a really disappointing result to finish it off. Strategy and execution were both off today. It felt like we had a hangover from the disappointment of not getting a first round bye. That's certainly human nature but also disappointing that the staff and team leaders didn't do a bit more to guard against it.
Surely lessons were learned during the Stony Brook series of games.Host Lehigh on August 30,2025 will be a tough one for the Spiders.
They have a number of Frosh in key positions
And a savvy head coach
Plus a 5.5 hour bus ride on that Friday afternoon.
They shut him down inside the 10. We are very predictable and vanilla when the field is compressed.Palmer-Smith ran it for 107 yards. Keyed on or not they did not exactly shut him down.
That didn't take long.CAA done for the year. Villa and RI both lose
No CAA team makes it past 2nd round, oh how the mighty have fallen. That didn't take long.
Rhody had two TD by the same player called back. One when he took it to the house on a punt and the officials said he called for a fair catch (raised hand but not about shoulder, 50/50) the other for ineligible receiver down field. Really bad thing about the punt call back was Mercer gets a pick six on the next play.No CAA team makes it past 2nd round, oh how the mighty have fallen.
Exactly. No CAA team makes it past 2nd round, oh how the mighty have fallen.
Agree totally. But not our problem anymore. It appears that we have a whole new set of problems.CAA Co-Champions - Spiders lose to Patriot League Champs, RI loses to Southern Conference Champs. NOT a good look.
Until proven on the field, league needs to quit claiming they are among the best in the FCS . Yesterday, for sure. Now, not so much. Future, TBD. Commissioner D'Antonio's stewardship does not instill confidence for a turnaround.
It may be the year of the Bobcat.Montana State blew things open with 3 TDs in the final four minutes of the first half, ultimately rolling to a 52–19 win over Idaho.
Unsurprising considering the Bobcats took the regular season meeting 38–7 with the Vandal TD being a meaningless one in the final minute.
There are about 5 schools that need to move up to FBS. The problem is no one wants them.It may be the year of the Bobcat.
