And marketing your real estate as “desirable UR area!”And stop walking your dogs, kids through campus. Stay off our lawn!
Look on Google Earth. There are maybe two houses on College Drive that can even see Pitt Field, much less be impacted by LED lights that have little ambient effect.Get sick of the "neighborhood" BS. University of Richmond was there first. If you chose to build/buy a home about it later, live with whatever the school chooses to do. You certainly don't have squatter rights so quit acting as if you do.
Both of which are part of the university's faculty housing program. The university retains ownership of the land while a faculty member purchases the house and then re-sells it to the university at a later date under a formula that splits the appreciation between the faculty member and UR.Look on Google Earth. Totally agree - its like buying a house on a lake and then complaining about the wildlife - like ducks and geese. It was there, and as mentioned above - its at most 1500 - 2000 fans, it will be very quiet.Get sick of the "neighborhood" BS. University of Richmond was there first. Wonder why we couldn't have put padding on the brick wall? Plenty of teams do this.If you're going to have a padded chain-link fence - much safer than a brick wall, I agree - then you need to put some advertising on the padding. Oregon State does this and it's a healthy boost to the budget (see link below).
Glad to see more institutional investment in baseball. Hallock said he would do this and he is living up to his promise.

It was only brick columns with wrought iron fencing between, and the columns had overhanging concrete caps on them. Seems like it would be difficult to pad sufficiently.Wonder why we couldn't have put padding on the brick wall? Plenty of teams do this.
