Ha, I wouldn't have taken the Buck bet, he had special conditions, with his local connections and timely injury in high school that I think caused some of the big boys to back off a bit.

Did the "big boys" (Virginia Tech, Texas Tech, etc.) back off Nick Sherod as well?
If this is true, then I guess he's ours! White had it narrowed down to Kansas and us in the end.
As someone living in the real world I agree with 97 here and would like to get in on this bet. I think CM won over Buck's mom (not knocking it, always a strong play...just sayin'), which is a major reason why both Buck and Sherrod are here to begin with. But as for getting any of those guys here it ain't happening.I prefer reality. If you would like to put a wager of some type down as to whether we land one of these kids, let me know, I'd be happy to engage in a little friendly competition.
